Yeah, When does it start?

Yes, it will start very soon. I am still in the organizing stage. The schools so far have been very cooperative and are receptive to the needs and wants of Seacoast Reads. The students are slow in coming but hopefully they won't be afraid to participate for much longer. Then after the sites are set up there will be two trainning session that all new students will have to go through. After all of this is finished then we are able to start. My goal is to start by the 18th of September, however my realistic goal is to have all of the site up and running by the following week, the 25th of September. Then hopefully we will be smooth sailing until December!

New Semester

Hi, thank you for visiting the blog for the volunteer program Seacoast Reads. I am Kristin, and I am the coordinator for the program. I would like to use this website to post any questions or concerns that any of the volunteers might have. I will answer any e-mails the volunteers send to me that I feel the group as a whole should know about. Many times we all have the same questions. We will all see the same issue arise all of the volunteering sites. I will also post times and dates for the training sessions as well as more information about the optional class. Our regular website is still a work in progress. Hopefully soon it will have a lot of useful information. I''ll post again when it is done. So check in with us often for more information or to see if any of your questions have been answered. Thank you and KEEP READING!
